Dr. Chef Avin Thaliath is a renowned baker and pastry chef, hospitality educator, and author, known for his exceptional contributions to the culinary world. With a burning passion for baking and a deep understanding of the art and science behind it, Chef Avin has established himself as a prominent figure in the industry in India and overseas.

Chef Avin’s culinary journey began under the guidance and influence of his mother. His talent and dedication led him to pursue a bachelor’s degree in hotel management from Christ University. It is also here that he furthered his education in business administration and completed his PhD in oenology studies while fulfilling his role as an assistant professor at his alma mater.

To take culinary education to the next level, Chef Avin cofounded Lavonne Academy of Baking Science and Pastry Arts. At Lavonne, he perseveres to preserve and impart a blend of traditional practices with the latest technology and science. His unwavering commitment to excellence, personable nature, and belief in the fusion of history, art, and science in baking stands Chef Avin in good stead as he continues to inspire and motivate people to pursue their culinary dreams.
